This year, we are writing two new chapters in our history – one for our small family, and one for the extended Wellendorff family around the world. Like his sisters Isabelle and Katharina, Christoph's son Alexander is now joining the company, bringing with him fresh ideas and the same understanding of the values that have defined us for five enerations.

The other milestone we are celebrating is the opening of our first boutique in South Korea. Located in the capital city of Seoul, two cultures come together that, at first glance, seem different, and yet are deeply connected in their understanding of precision, aesthetics and emotional depth. Leaving a lasting impression, an encounter between Christoph Wellendorff and star pianist Igor Levit illustrates just how wonderful it is when art and craftsmanship come together. Passion or technology alone is not enough. Only when both are harnessed can perfection be created. What drives us?
